Sewing Classes for Kids

ages 6/7 and up - (some easy reading skills needed)

Monday - Friday

1 or 2 hour classes at 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 & 5:30 (not every day has the 2:30 / 5:30 time slot - call to check times)

At the moment there are early classes on Wednesdays (since many schools get out early that day) from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Saturday

2 hour classes starting at 9:30. 11:30 & 1:30

Special times available for groups of home-school kids - call for details.

Knitting & Crochet classes

8 years old & up. 

Since these are more challenging techniques, we feel they need to be a bit older to have the patience to learn these skills.  It takes a lot of practice of the basics.

Kids may learn to knit or crochet at most of the above times in the scheduled sewing class times - it depends on who may be teaching that class.  They may also alternate between sewing and knitting, if they like.
